In the month of December 1994, the Chattogram Regional Center started it’s journey under leading the current Regional Director Mr. Muhammad Faridul Alam by allocating a room, a table and 3 chairs at the Government Teachers Training College, Chattogram. In 1995, he shifted the Chattogram Regional Center office to a rented house in Chandgaon residential area with the permission of the authorities. Through his endless efforts, land selection for the Chittagong Regional Center and multi-faceted discussions with the Customs authorities and the Railway authorities took possession of the selected site.

Later, through the Engineer and Estate Department of BOU completed the construction of its own building (present office building) on CRB Road, Chittagong. From December 1, 1998, he (Mr. Muhammad Faridul Alam) opened the office in the new building with all the officers/employees at that time. Office rooms and classrooms are available in the 2nd floor of this 3-storey and rest houses on the 3rd floor. The total area of the office is 0.82 acres. Chattogram RC office is located at central Railway Building (CRB) area which is very scenic.

The mission of Chattogram RC is to co-operate its students co-ordially, to help them through proper activities and to execute all BOU decisions in right time with right way.

Vision of Chatttogram RC is to be a top-ranking educational center with huge students and modern educational environment all over the country.
