Since September 2015, the School of Business, Bangladesh Open University launched a new enriched Professional Master of Business Administration Program (PMBA) with a view to equip the students with corporate skills that will enable them to grasp career opportunities in management and face business challenges with confidence. The program is developed to help practicing professionals, managers, public-and-private-sector-officials etc. gaining a higher level of competency.

The academic part of the new two-year 60-credit program is delivered over a 24-month period on a Trimester basis. Students have the opportunity to choose from four concentrations: Accounting and Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Finance & Banking.
