In November 2013, Kamruzzaman began his academic career as a lecturer in Islamic Studies at the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages (SSHL), Bangladesh Open University (BOU). He graduated from Bangladesh's University of Dhaka with a BA in Islamic Studies in 2006 and an MA in the same field in 2009. He conducted several studies during his academic career, which motivated him to enter the research industry. He was elevated to the rank of Assistant Professor (Islamic Studies) at the SSHL, BOU, in May 2017. He is an excellent communicator who can readily establish a rapport with his students and impart the highest level of rigor in his instruction of both basic and complex ideas. In addition, Kamruzzaman is executing various academic and administrative responsibilities as an active member. Currently he is working on a research project entitled ‘Gender Selection of baby in IVF procedure: Islamic perspective’ and Looking for his PhD scholarship.
